As new year began with pleasant atmosphere, we all are eagerly waiting for the most interesting trek of the new year is Harishchandra Gad via Nalichi Vaat (Kokankada). The interesting point of this trek is this cliff, which has always fascinated many people from many years. The cliff faces west and looks down upon the Konkan. From here, one can have a breathtaking view of the surrounding region. This cliff is not just vertical, it is an overhang, almost like a cobra's hood. So friends to experiencing this breath taking adventure, we are climbing this cliff via route of nalichi vaat.

The venue for the trek is ' Harichandra Gad Via Nalachi Vaat ' on Saturday 17th -18th Jan 2009. But we will start our journey on Friday, i. e. 16th Jan., 2009.

We all trek lovers will gather on Friday, i. e. 16th Jan. 2009 at Kalyan Bus Depot. At sharp 10.30
We will be proceed to 'Harishchandra Gad by ST Bus.

The venue for the trek is ' Trek Prabal-Kalavatin on Sunday 14th December 2008. But we will start our journey on Saturday, i. e. 13th December 2008.

We all trek lovers will gather on Saturday, 13th December 2008. at Mumbai CST sharp 12.00 am or your convenient railway station. (Same train will arrive at sharp to follow harbor railway station: Wadala: 1.01am, Kurla: 1.11am, Vashi: 1.30am)

Trek Attractions
• Lord Parshuram Temple : It is the at the highest point of the fort, housing the idol of Lord Parshuram and His 'Paduka' carved in stone.
• Gangasagar Lake: A huge cistern hewn out of rock with a pole in the center. It is believed that Goddess Ganga emerges in this lake every 12 years and the water turns white. The locals then hold a festival to celebrate the same and worship the Goddess.
• Renuka Devi and Ganesh Temples : Adjoining the lake are the roofless temples of Renuka Devi and Lord Ganesh.
• Yadna Kund : A pit crafted in a rock to perform various rituals.
• Rock Cut Caves: There are number of rock cut caves crafted out of various cliffs of the fort
• Rock Cut Steps: Steps are hewn out of rock on both the routes to facilitate reaching the top.

Postpone Upcoming Trek - Ullas Vally

We are very sorry to inform you that our forthcoming Ullas Vally Trek (which is to be held on 10th August 08.) has been postpone due to some problems.

We are planning this trek at the end of this month. Schedule will be announced as soon as possible.

Bhimashankar is a dream destination for any trekker, a perfect setting for an exciting and short eco-adventure. The trek to Bhimashankar via Shidi Ghat is adventurous and involves a bit of elementary rock climbing.

The venue for the trek 'BHIMASHANKAR' is on 26th - 27th July 2008. But we will start our journey on Friday, i. e. 25th July 2008 at 11.30 pm sharp from CST Station (Central Railway).
